What if Kobe Bryant was still in the NBA

Kobe Bryant is a legend and a master of basketball. He did have some injuries that may have had an adverse effect on his career.

But my question always is, what if Kobe was still in the league.

Kobe has had amazing records like the 81 points against Toronto Raptors and 62 against Dallas. My Prediction - Kobe will be a another all-star if he is back in the league because when he was 36 he averaged 22.6 ppg, 6.0 apg, and 5.0 rpg. That’s good numbers for a guy who is 36.

So let's see what will happen in 2018 season....

Kobe will get about 20.0 points a game. He will lead the Lakers to the 9th seed in the WC but not make the playoffs. A reminder, Lonzo Ball is on this team and will get 14.0 and will get 2nd place to win rookie of the year, behind 76ers PG Markelle Fultz. Brook Lopez will have a decent season averaging 17.0 ppg and 10.0 rpg. Lakers will end 2018 season with a 40-42 record.

The leadership of Jimmy Butler, Karl- Anthony Towns , and Andrew Wiggins will give the T-Wolves a playoff chance.

In the start of the off season, the Lakers win 22-9 games in the WC and the leading scorer is SG Lonzo Ball with 19.9 ppg and 10.1 apg and Kobe gets 18.0 ppg. Michael Porter Jr. will win rookie of the year and the Lakers are in the Playoffs. They win the 1st round and but lose in the second round to the defending champions Warriors and their season ends while Kobe gets 18.0 per game.

The Warriors will win their 2nd straight championship.

The Lakers get the 18th pick and choose Trevon Duval who is a great young PG. In the 2019 season Kobe averages about 19.0 ppg as the Lakers miss the playoffs. The Magic get the 1st pick and choose James Wiseman who in the mock draft is Anthony Davis. The 2022 season is the star of the Timberwolves.Winning 63 games and Karl Anthony Towns gets 28.0 ppg. Wiggins gets 25.1 ppg and Jimmy Butler who is 32,averages about 21.8 ppg. The Lakers did make it to the first round and won by Lonzo averaging 20.9 ppg and Kobe got 23.7 ppg. The semifinals had a tough matchup, the #2 seeded Houston Rockets. The Rockets win Game 1, but the Lakers win Game 2 while Michael Porter Jr. scores 30 points and 9 rebounds. Lakers win Game 2 and 3 going up 3-1. But the Rockets wouldn’t give up by Harden getting 39 points in a blowout game and the score was 122-97 On the east, the 76ers are being a destroyer while Joel Embiid gets 28.9 ppg, Ben Simmons averaging 21.9 ppg, and Colin Sexton averages 20.1 ppg. The Lakers win Game 5 winning the semi-finals and went to face the hardest Minnesota Timberwolves. The game goes back and forth while the series is tied 2-2. The Lakers win Game 5 but the T-Wolves would win Game 6. Game 7, Kobe scores 40 points but KAT scores 38 points. Eventually, The T-Wolves won by a buzzer-beater by Andrew Wiggins.

This is my opinion if Kobe Bean Bryant was still in the NBA.
